Credit Union Coalition celebrates food drive success

Credit unions across the state partnered with Hawaii Credit Union League and Hawaii Foodbank on Oahu and neighbor island food banks in the fight against hunger.

From June to August, the Credit Union Coalition on Oahu utilized a digital platform to raise $66,480.97 plus 7,706 pounds of food, which was donated to Hawaii Foodbank.

The Credit Unions of Maui Coalition raised $2,507.98 and 4,712 pounds of food, which was donated to Maui Food Bank.

Hawaii Island credit unions also participated in a food drive and raised $4,098.24 to benefit Hawaii Food Basket.

Credit unions on Kauai will hold their food drive in November to benefit the Kauai Independent Food Bank.
