In the 84 years since its founding, HFS FCU has grown to include six locations on Hawaii Island. The credit union’s current office was built in 1982 to house 15 employees and serve approximately 9,200 members.

Today HFS FCU has 120 employees, over 50,000 members, and assets of $770 million.

HFS FCU held a groundbreaking ceremony to kick off construction of its new building. The two-story structure will provide an additional 20,000 square feet, allowing expansion of services and ample room for administrative and support staff. It is located next door to its current location on Kinoole Street in Hilo. Construction will be completed in the Fall of 2022.
