Three outstanding Hickam FCU members recently received $1,000 each from the credit union’s college scholarship program.

On May 5 a small, informal presentation was held at the credit union with scholarships recipients Dharma D., Rhynne L., and Mikayla P. sharing their plans for college.

On May 13, Hickam FCU presented a $1,000 check to Special Olympics Hawaii (SOH). The credit union’s Core Values Champions Committee (CVCC) selected SOH to receive this donation because their mission and actions taken for individuals with intellectual disabilities resonated with Hickam FCU’s core values of caring, integrity, and commitment. SOH provides health, education, sports, and leadership programs for these individuals in the community.
