Bank Secrecy Act training sessions for volunteers and staff set for May

Hawaii Credit Union League members are invited to register for free Bank Secrecy Act training sessions presented by Mark Komatsu of Hawaii Law Enforcement FCU.

Sessions will be held on the Zoom Meeting platform and requires a computer or device connected to the Internet with a video camera (encouraged) and speakers/microphone or telephone for audio.

Bank Secrecy Act Training for Volunteers
Thursday, May 6, 2021 – 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Volunteers need to understand the importance of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulatory requirements, ramifications of noncompliance, and risks posed to the credit union. Learn what can happen if the credit union does not comply with BSA, the U.S. PATRIOT Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.  (Duration:  1.5 hours)
