This Thanksgiving will look different with social distancing and restrictions on large gatherings.  While we can still give thanks for food and family, let’s also remember those who go hungry every day.

HawaiiFoodbank CreditUnionCoalition FoodDrive 1200x628 1Oahu credit unions partnered with Hawaii Food Bank in October to bring hope and food to the hungry in our communities.

The original goal of raising $17,000 was surpassed before the end of October and was raised to $22,000 as the timeframe was extended to the end of November. As of November 19, participating credit unions raised $24,319.28! With a little more than one week to go and you still have time to make a difference!

This Thanksgiving, give thanks by donating online through one of the participating credit unions in the Credit Union Coalition. Your donation ensures that keiki receive the nutrition they need; senior citizens don't have to choose between nutritious meals and their daily medication; and parents don't have to put paying for electricity ahead of feeding their families.

Together, we can work to ensure no one in our Hawaii 'ohana goes hungry!
