Community-minded credit unions and credit union-related organizations joined forces to collectively donate $30,000 to Hawaii Resilience Fund.

The COVID 19 pandemic has caused unprecedented financial hardship for Hawaii residents. Hawaii Community Foundation created the Hawaii Resilience Fund to rapidly deploy resources to community nonprofits and health care providers who are working to address the impacts of COVID-19 in Hawaii.

Hawaii Community Foundation works closely with state leaders, non-profit organizations, businesses, and philanthropists to clearly understand quickly evolving priorities in the community. Daily grant reviews are based on a four-phased approach that targets the most vulnerable island residents.
