Calling all young professionals: JEDI application deadline extended

Did you miss the deadline for submitting your JEDI application? Perhaps love was on your mind with the February 14 deadline? No worries!  The deadline has been extended to Tuesday, March 3.

The League’s JEDI (Junior Executive Development Initiative) offers opportunities to participate in activities designed to engage up-and-coming professionals who want to make an impact. Activities include lunch discussions with selected speakers at the League annual convention, scavenger hunt activities to build your network, sharing on social media platforms, commenting or providing testimony for advocacy, attending Chapter meetings, participating in community events, soliciting PAC contributions, and much more.

If you are selected for the JEDI program, you will be awarded fully paid registration for two days at the League Annual Convention which includes attendance at educational sessions, access to the exhibit hall, meals and Friday night banquet; fully paid registration for two days at the HCUL Regulatory and Governmental Affairs Conference which includes attendance at educational sessions, access to exhibit area and meals.

After your first JEDI year, you can take advantage of a 50 percent discount off registration fees for the League’s Annual Convention and Regulatory & Governmental Affairs conference if you are willing to mentor an incoming JEDI.

JEDI is targeted to young professionals (under 40 years of age) committed to making a difference and advancing the credit union industry.
