League mourns the death of Pamela Divito Paiaina

Pam passed away on September 23, 2019, at age 70.

Pam was hired by the League in 2006 to fill a newly created Vice President/Chief Operating Officer position. She managed the League member relations department including HCU Services Corporation, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the pam obit picLeague. She was also in charge of the information technology, education and training, communications, and office support departments. Pam retired from the League in 2012.

Pam was a veteran of the financial services industry in Hawaii. From 1997-2006, she was AVP, Credit Union Market Group at Bank of Hawaii and was often called the “Champion for the Credit Unions”. She worked as VP of Operations at HawaiiUSA FCU from 1990-1997, and at City Bank from 1971-1990.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Pam on Saturday, November 23, at Diamond Head Memorial Park Cemetery with 10:00 a.m. visitation and 11:00 a.m. celebration.
