Assistant Member Services Supervisor

General duties include opening all types of accounts for members, providing training, guidance, and support to staff, resolving complaints while retaining and strengthening member relations of the Credit Union.


  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2-years financial institution back office operational activities preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred

Risk Manager

Full-time King Street Branch


Under the direction of the Vice President - Internal Audit, this position is responsible for overseeing the Vendor Management and Records Information Management Program for the Credit Union. This person will also be responsible for oversight of the entire Data/Records Information lifecycle which includes developing and implementing policy and related procedures based on the various types of records.


  • Supervise the Vendor and Records Management Specialist.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the Vendor Due Diligence and Oversight policy
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the vendor management database to ensure compliance with the Vendor Due Diligence and Oversight policy.
  • Provide guidance to Relationship Managers in order to maintain positive relationships with critical and other vendors to ensure products or services are high quality and delivered on time and contract renewals and expirations are processed in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Relationship Managers to:
    • Ensure complete and accurate due diligence is performed in accordance with the Vendor Due Diligence and Oversight policy.
    • Ensure vendor service levels are maintained and monitored in the Vendor Management system.
    • Continually improve risk assessment operations in accordance with the Vendor Due Diligence and Oversight policy.
    • Facilitate vendor replacements and terminations in a timely manner and with minimal risk.
  • Identify improvement areas internally and work closely with stakeholders to prepare solutions.
  • Develop and implement a Records Information Management/Document Retention and Destruction policy and procedures in accordance with applicable regulatory guidance.
  • Perform project management duties as applicable in relation to data/records management. Research, analyze, and prepare project forms for project approvals.
  • Attend conferences, and review communications pertaining to areas of responsibility in order to develop new products/projects based on current and future needs and stay abreast of industry trends.
  • Serve as a key liaison for addressing all audit and regulatory findings relating to Data/Records Management and ensuring resolution with applicable stakeholders.
  • Prepare annual performance evaluations for staff.
  • Performs all other miscellaneous responsibilities and duties as assigned.


  • Computer skills, knowledge of various software programs – Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Must be analytical and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of financial legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Problem-solving skills.

Education/Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with Vendor management experience of minimum five years, with one plus years of management experience.
  • Records Management experience of minimum one year or related records management experience.
  • Strong understanding of 3rd Party Vendor Lifecycle Management.
  • Experience in vendor management for a financial institution preferred but not required.
  • Able to problem-solve, take initiative for projects and work independently with minimal supervisory oversight.
  • Demonstrates strong record-keeping, time-management, and general organizational skills.
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.
