Vice President of Information Technology

We are seeking a Vice President of Information Technology.  This person will be responsible for setting and implementing the objectives and strategies for the IT Department while adhering to regulatory requirements. This position will report to the President.  The ideal candidate shall possess proven managerial experience, strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.  To succeed in this role, this person will have vast experience in IT and be able to manage a team, ultimately ensuring the success and effectiveness of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Setting and implementing objectives and strategies for the IT department
  • Selecting and implementing suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
  • Oversee the technological infrastructure (networks and computer systems) in the organization to ensure optimal performance including the health, updates, remediations, upgrades and oversight 
  • Direct and organize IT-related projects
  • Complete cost analyses, value and risks of information technology for the company
  • Maintain security policies and work with 3rd party vendors to ensure their proper implementation on firewalls, messaging security, and data loss prevention systems
  • Manage security event and incident response programs and procedures.
  • Work with application vendors and outsource infrastructure vendor as needed
  • Provide lead technical support for mission critical applications as needed by performing analysis techniques and procedures
  • Support audits and disaster recovery planning and testing as needed
  • Review audit reports and alerts to ensure the comparability and availability of systems and infrastructure
  • Monitor external security trends and metrics and apply applicable aspects to company systems as approved
  • Enforce and suggest policy procedures and guidelines for enterprise compliance
  • Keeping current with industry standards, trends, evolving technologies, and best practices
  • Able to assist and troubleshoot end users with hardware and software needs.
  • Provide training and support to staff.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • In depth knowledge of computers and network, Windows OS
  • In depth knowledge of standard security procedures, industry trends, threats and migration
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure
  • Background in designing/developing IT systems and planning IT implementation
  • Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, governance, and business operations
  • In depth knowledge on SAN and network devices, scalability, constraints and design
  • In depth knowledge of server hardware, scalability, constraints and design
  • In depth knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching

 

Vice President – Loans

Description:

Seeking experienced person to join our management team as Vice President of Loans.   This position reports directly to the President and is responsible for the administration and operations of the Loan Department and is accountable in managing the performance results of the respective business units comprised of consumer lending, mortgage, and collections.  The Vice President of Loans will evaluate loan programs, make recommendations, and develop implementation plans for approved programs.  This person ensures compliance with State and Federal regulations, credit union policies, and internal procedures.

Requirements:

  • Five years minimum experience in mortgage and consumer lending.
  • Five years management experience with a financial institution.
  • Must possess strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • In depth working knowledge of lending and collection principles and practices.
