Change is inevitable, and Socrates once proffered this advice: “The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the new.”

2019 NEW Catalyst LogoCatalyst Corporate’s 46th annual Economic & Payments Forum – titled “Future Vision, Unfolding our New Environment” – is your opportunity to “build on the new” in the financial services industry. Forum 2022 can help you prepare for monumental changes ahead in faster payments, the post-COVID economy and management of your credit union’s balance sheet.

This year’s event will take place at a new venue, the Renaissance Dallas at Plano Legacy West Hotel on Monday, September 19 through Wednesday, September 21.

In addition to looking at the latest economic forecasts, Forum presenters will take a deeper dive into topics, including payments trends, the changing labor market, the impacts of the geopolitical arena, employee recruitment and retention and cybersecurity.

Emmy award-winning CNBC Senior Financial Analyst and Commentator Ron Insana will give his unique perspective on the interaction between Wall Street, Main Street and Washington, D.C. Ron also hosts The Market Score Board Report, a nationally syndicated radio program, translating market signals and political maneuvers into actionable information everyone can use to position for an uncertain future.

Around-the-world pilot and former TV reporter Amelia Rose Earhart will deliver the opening day keynote, "Leading through Turbulence.” Her presentation is designed to help credit union leaders “stay in the air” and navigate through turbulence to reach their destinations.

Geopolitical strategist and diplomacy consultant to the U.S. Department of State John Sitilides will explore U.S. and global risk trends and international threat assessments that impact business, investment and policy decisions, as well as examine the landscape leading into the mid-term elections.

Dan Gonzalez, VP-National Accounts Director at Federal Reserve Financial Services, will provide an instant payments update on the soon-to-launch FedNow℠ Service.

George Washington University Professor of Economics and Indeed Hiring Lab Senior Fellow Tara Sinclair will share her response to the Great Resignation.

Business and technology expert Gene Marks, whose insights appear regularly in the Washington Post, Forbes, Fox News and MSNBC, will cover cybersecurity tactics to keep your organization safe.
