COVID-19 Resources for Consumers

The heart of credit union philosophy from its beginning has been its unique concept of human service in the economic field. It is staying close to the sides of its members.  It is helping them in every social and economic and financial transaction that comes into their lives.

Below is a list of Hawaii Credit Union League member credit unions with the latest adjusted business hours and/or branch closings.  Links (if available) take you to individual credit union sites for more information.  Please contact your credit union if you need assistance during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Credit unions are here to help you
The leaders of Hawaii’s credit unions continue to monitor the latest updates regarding coronavirus disease (COVID-19). Your credit union is here to help with any financial services you need during these difficult times.

Access to your money
At many credit unions, the safest and easiest way to access your money 24 hours a day during this pandemic is through online banking services. If your credit union offers online and/or mobile banking, now is a great time to sign up! Call your credit union for more information.

If you need to visit your credit union’s branches, please check for any changes in business hours. Using drive through service or ATMs is being encouraged.

If you’ve been financially impacted by this pandemic, contact your credit union to discuss your options and help guide you through these uncertain times. Member-owned credit unions are here to support you now, more than ever.

Protect yourself from cyber scams
It is important to note that your credit union will NEVER ask for confidential information such as your name, password, personal identification number (PIN) or other account information over the phone. You can review the Federal Trade Commission's advice for consumers to protect yourself from scams.

We’re here if you need any additional assistance
If you want to learn more about COVID-19, visit the CDC's resource center Hawaii State Health Department website or Hawaii Emergency Management Agency website. Please take care of yourself and those around you and do not hesitate to contact your credit union for any assistance.
